Eduard 1/72 USN Carrier Deck 1944-1945 Lift Area

So far Eduard has released a USN Carrier Deck 1943-1944 Lift Area (#73416), a 1942-1944 Lift Area (#73418), and an actual deck section from 1942-1944 (#73421). This release is for a later carrier deck, another Lift Area from 1944-1945 (#73419)

As you can see, this 1944-1945 Carrier Deck Lift Area is a lot darker than the previous releases. From what I've read, later on during WW2, the U.S. Navy started painting their carrier decks a dark blue. As with the other Carrier Deck pieces put out from Eduard, I will mount this to a piece of wood for easier handling, but for now it looks great under any model of that time-frame unmounted.

You can see in the photos that I have my Eduard F6F-3 sitting on top of the lift area section. There were no actual instructions in the baggie on how to use this photoetch, instead leaving it to the modeler's imagination.
