Brengun 1/144 Revell Harrier Canopy
By Matt Bittner
It's really nice continuing to see replacement canopies coming from Brengun for 1/144 kits. In scale-terms, all injected plastic canopies are way too thick and best replaced by one that is vacuum-formed, or "heat smashed". This time Brengun releases a canopy for the excellent Revell 1/144 Harriers.
Revell has released the Harrier in 1/144 as both an AV-8B of the United States Marine Corps (USMC) and a GR.7 with RAF markings (these are the only two releases I'm aware of). The kit is considered the best for those two types of Harriers and is great out-of-the-box. However, RetrokiT has released two resin sets to enhance the basic kit: the first release was a set of intakes with the auxiliary intake doors opened, as they are when the actual plane is on the ground; the second release was a replacement cockpit. If you use the RetroWings cockpit you'll definitely want to use this canopy from Brengun to show off all the great detail.
This is another welcomed release from Brengun to replace the Harrier's canopy. By all means definitely pick this one up.
I definitely say "thank you" to Brengun for allowing me to review this canopy.
