Wolfpak Decals 1/72 “On Guard”
By Matt Bittner
With this release (#72-098) Wolfpak Decals returns to their usual, post-WW2 subjects. All aircraft on this sheet flew with the USAF Air National Guard (ANG) and cover a myriad of subjects.
- F-89J, 124th FIS, 132nd FIG, Sioux City, IA, 1966 (overall ADC Grey with red tip-tanks)
- F-86H, 104th TFS, Cannon AFB, NM, Pueblo Crisis, 1968 (SEA camouflage)
- F-86H, 138th TFS, Hancock Field ANGB, 1966 (SEA camouflage)
- A-7D, 146th TFS, 171st TFW, Pittsburgh IAP, Oct, 1991 (Euro camouflage)
- F-16CM, 125th FS, Tulsa ANGB, July, 2016
- C-27J, 186th AW, Key Field, MS, November, 2012 (overall grey)
As with all decals from Wolfpak these are nicely printed and appear to be in register. Plus the instructions are to their typical high-quality.
If you're looking for different schemes for any of these subjects then this sheet is one to track down. My thanks to Wolfpak Decals for sending the review set.
