Starfighter Decals 1/72 F2A Buffalos

This decal sheet – 72-124 – is exactly the same as sheet 48-003 but in the correct scale.  It has markings for the following aircraft:

• F2A-1, BuNo 1393, VF-3, USS Saratoga, 1940
• F2A-1, BuNo 1387, VF-3, 1939 World's Fair
• F2A-2, BuNo unk, VS-201, USS Long Island, 1941
• F2A-3, BuNo unk, VF-2, USS Lexington, Late 1941

While the decals are designed to fit the Hasegawa kit, they may also work on the MPM/Special Hobby kit, although you'll want to try them first.  Everything you need for two models resides on this decal sheet.  If you want to finish more of them then either purchase Starfighter set 72-105 and/or use the markings provided with the kit.

Once again Starfighter provides other options for 'tweener (and early WW2) 1/72 aircraft, which is definitely commended.  I hope they continue for quite a long time.
