SBS Model 1/72 Airfix Spitfire Mk.I “Round” Exhausts

I find it odd that there isn't more aftermarket resin for the new-tool Airfix 1/72 Spitfire Mk.I/II. It's a great kit and while it has small problems, builds into an excellent example of those marks of Spitfires. Sure, Pavla has released an exterior detail set – as well as a few PR conversion sets – plus 3D-Kits has put out a Mk.II conversion set (before Airfix released their own Mk.II), but when it comes to resin pieces for the kit, that's all there is. You could pick up Pavla's exterior set, but there are difficulties with it (which I will get into when I finish my Mk.II LR build) and if you just want an exhaust, or just wheels, or just some other piece, then you're stuck with the entire set, costing more than just buying a single item. If you just want resin wheels/tires then you have to buy something more generic, and get it to fit on Airfix's landing gear. If you wanted replacement exhausts, you were out of luck (unless you were willing to buy Pavla's complete exterior set).

Thankfully, SBS Model has filled the exhaust void. Perfectly cast with hollowed ends, the SBS exhausts will look great on your Mk.I/II model. Just remove the parts from the pour lug and it's as easy as putting in the kit-supplied exhausts (definitely best, and easiest, to add after painting and decaling). Perfect. So, if you're looking for hollowed-out exhausts for your Airfix Spitfire Mk.I/II, then SBS Model has what you need.
