Rocketeer Decals 1/72 SR-71A “NASA Tail Chronicle 2.0”

During the 1990s two SR-71 Blackbirds were used by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) for high-speed and high-altitude testing. One was an SR-71A the other an SR-71B. This release from Rocketeer Decals covers just the SR-71A. The following tail numbers are covered:

"06937" from 1971-1978 - "832" hypersonic experiment from 1991-1992
- "841" hypersonic experiment, 1993
- "844" Linear Aerospike SR-71 Experiment (LASRE), 1996
The decals appear spot-on and in register. Unfortunately the instructions don't have any color call-outs, but you can be certain this was the typical "all black" SR-71 everyone knows of. The back of the instructions, though, shows how the aircraft should be marked and where the decals go.
