RetroWings 1/144 ALQ-99 Pods

The ALQ-99 is an integrated system that can be used to intercept, automatically process and jam radio frequency systems. The system is integrated because some of the equipment is in the top of the Prowler's fin or on the Growler's wingtips. There are two types of Pods, one for Low-band and the other for High-band. The differences are subtle but they do exist.
RetrokiT has released both sets of Pods - Low-band and High-band frequency - in 1/144 and there are two types of the same pod in the package. It appears that to be complete you'll need both the Low-band and High-band Pods for the Growler (and possibly the Prowler, too). These are really well cast but only include the Pods. You'll need to use the supplied pylons in whatever kit you're building. It would also be a good idea to have photos available of the actual aircraft you want to model to be sure you have everything right.
