Mini-Art 1/72 Building With Garage

This kit from MiniArt (reference number 72031) is a 1/72nd scale Building with Garage.

You can build it as a stand alone model or as part of a diorama. It comes in a very stout, colorful box with a photo of the finished building on the box top.

It consists of 197 plastic pieces, molded in white, orange, black, and "brick" red.

The building has brick walls, metal gutters, stairs, and downspouts, and a tile roof. The kit also includes some signage and posters that you can cut out and attach to the building.

This model is very well detailed and its construction is straightforward, if you follow MiniArt's well illustrated and easy-to-follow build sequence.

I think there are 2 ways to paint this model. You can either prime the entire thing a neutral, "base" color and use your own choice of colors and paints.

Or you could simplify things greatly, by giving the assembled model a clear gloss coat and use washes, and weathering materials to transform the base plastic colors. I think this option is both more challenging, intriguing, and perhaps more rewarding.
