General aviation is not the most popular modeling subject out there, but there are a few kits available for those so inclined. What's sorely lacking, though, is any sort of aftermarket decals for these kits. JBOT is trying to take care of this shortcoming and this sheet, designed for the 1/72 Arii Cessna 172, is a step in the right direction. This plane is of the Royal Dutch Historical Flight and features a white top and gray bottom, separated by a red, white and blue cheatline. The tail features a very large winged triangle, of which JBOT has included a correction sheet that has the correct crowns on top.

Other decals include the complete cheatline including the registration codes & titles, the propeller blade tip colors, and the antiglare panel.

If you've got the Arii 1/72 Cessna 172 (or the ESCI 1/48 kit, as this sheet is also available in 1/48) and don't want to use the kit decals, this sheet offers an interesting and colorful option.

My thanks to JBOT Decals for the review sample and these can be ordered from hiswebsite.
