VistaJet was a short-lived airline out of Canada that flew a couple Boeing 737-200s in an interesting livery consisting of purple and fuchsia. The owner of JBOT Decals actually submitted a few livery designs to the fledgling airline and also built up a promotional model for the company so he had lots of great information to pull from in creating this sheet, including the original PANTONE color references. Even with all this information you'll want to do your own research as there were subtle differences between the two aircraft in the fleet.
The decal sheet comes with everything you'll need to build up an example of C-GVJB, while parts are also included to do most of the second plane, C-GVJC. This second plane had a different curve to the tail logo, though, so you'd have to paint that one on if you so desired. The tail logo included covers the entire tail, and with this being an ALPS-printed decal you'll want to take some care in applying this rather large piece. The cheatlines are provided as one piece for each side, and a complete set of door outlines are included. The windscreen is also included, but no cabin windows. The phone number included wasn't worn by the fleet (can you call two planes a fleet?), but if the airline continued in service it's possible that it would have been added, so it's there as an option. Other details include the engine warning stripes and nose gear door stripes.
This is a rather colorful 737-200 and it's a pity that it was only on the scene for half a year. This decal sheet will look great on that Airfix kit and add a lot of color to the shelves. If your scale is smaller or larger, this sheet is available in 1/200 and 1/100 scales as well.
My thanks to JBOT Decals for the review sample and these can be ordered from hiswebsite.
