By Matt Bittner
From the instructions:
"Two aircraft He 111 H-10 were delivered to the Slovak Air Force from Germany in 1943 year. They were shift(ed) into 51st Squadron. They served in paratroopers training and couriers missions in Slovakia and Eastern Front. They were piloted by Slovak airmen J. Hergott, V. Grun, J. Trnka, E. Cech, O. Dumbala, and L. Koza. Haupt. Koza escaped with S-82 machine to the USSR in 2nd August 1944 y. S-81 machine was confiscated by Germans."
There are decals for both Heinkel He 111s: S-81 and S-82:- He 111 serial 5468, S-81 had RLM 70 and 71 upper surfaces with RLM 65 undersides, and had the ends of the lower surfaces of the wings and fuselage band finished in yellow
- He 111 serial 5313, S-82 had RLM 74 and 75 upper surfaces with RLM 65 undersides, and had the ends of the lower surfaces of the wings and fuselage band finished in yellow
Decals are nicely finished and appear to be in register. If you're looking for alternative markings for either your Italeri or Hasegawa He 111, then you'll probably want to pick these decals up from HR Model.
We want to thank HR Model for sending these decals in for review.
