Eduard 1/72 Spitfire Mk.IXc early version PE

This photo-etch set is for the Overtrees version of Eduard's 1/72nd scale Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IXc early version kit. It is simple and it consists of 27 pieces, some of which are pre-painted, on a single fret. It includes a new instrument panel, seatbelts, a compass mount, disc wheel faces, and radiator faces.
Eduard's new Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX kits deserve their lofty reputation. They are accurate and well detailed. I like the fact that you can choose from 3 detail levels-Profipack, Weekend Edition or Overtrees-depending on your skill level and/or how complex a build you want.
The Overtrees kit is great right out of the box, so this PE adds just what you need to finish off the cockpit and it adds some airframe detail too. I recommend this set and I would like to thank Eduard for the review sample.
