Eduard 1/72 Hobby Boss F9F-2 Photoetch

Adding another photoetch fret to their Zoom set, Eduard has released this more comprehensive set (#73 398) for the Hobby Boss 1/72 F9F-2 Panther.
First, on the Zoom fret, there are parts to add to the ejection seat: replacement foot, ejection rests; seat belts and other assundries. Next you receive instrument panel additions (after you scrape away the molded-in detail) along with replacement rudder pedals. Next up are replacement pieces for the cockpit tub's sides (although be careful with the forward portion, so you don't remove the raised piece for the photoetched throttle handle). There are additions to the fuselage side-walls, canopy and canopy-underside piece, rear-view mirror for the canopy and additions to the tail hook area.
On the second fret there are parts for all landing gear, landing gear doors and landing gear wells. For example, for the main landing gear you receive complete doors. Plus, there is wiring, tie-down holds, and other parts to add to each main gear. Another addition the second fret adds are items for the bombs, mainly replacement nose fuses, fins and other parts for the back end of each bomb. Plus there are ignition wires for the rockets.
With the extra fret, Eduard has provided plenty to give the Hobby Boss 1/72 F9F-2 Panther a bit more detail. Any model using this set will really look great.
