Eduard 1/48 F4F-3 Wildcat Accessories

Eduard has wasted no time producing some aftermarket detail sets for their new 1/48th scale F4F-3 Wildcat kit. Let's take a look at some of them:
644172 F4F-3 LATE
This simple set consists of 10 pieces. 8 of the parts are pre-painted photo-etched seat belts. These have very convincing detail. The other 2 parts are resin, the 3-D printed instrument panel base and the instrument panel itself.

648767 F4F-3 Wheels early
You get 5 resin parts plus a set of rice paper masks in this set. It includes a pair of superbly cast main wheels plus 3 different types of tail wheels; one with a hard rubber tire for carrier based Wildcats and 2 different pneumatic tail wheels for F4F-3 aircraft operating from airfields on land.

648768 F4F-3 Wheels late
This set is virtually identical to the one reviewed above. It also includes a pair of cast main wheels with spokes and optional PE covers, the same 3 tail wheels plus a set of rice paper masks.
