Eduard 1/144 A-4F Photoetch

Overview
Another excellent addition to the Platz and Eduard kit is this photoetch set for the 1/144 A-4 Skyhawk.
The Photoetch
The Platz A-4 Skyhawk is truly a superb kit. Some may think there isn't much to improve, but photoetch can improve details to be more "in scale" as well as add missing detail. This set of photoetch for the Platz/Eduard A-4 provides photoetch parts for the seat (once you remove parts of it which is shown in the instructions) such as new sides, added belts, and ejection handles; a fold-up cockipt tub and control column (you'll need to remove some of the kit's plastic to get the fold-up tub to fit); new instrument panel; main landing gear well detail; "hooks" that also go into the gear well once the photoetch detail is added; and flare/chaff dispensers for the rear, underside of the fuselage (check references to ensure the aircraft you're modeling had those).

Conclusion
The photoetch detail included in this set is great for adding detail to an already superlative kit. Building the Platz/Eduard A-4 shouldn't take long but adding more detail to the kit will make it look better.
