DXM 1/48 JASDF F-15J/DJ Aggressor Decals

Double Excellent Model (DXM) Workshop focus on quality decal design and detail parts of modeling. All products are designed and printed in Taiwan.

DXM has released several JASDF decal sheets that focus on the different and unusual. Sheet 01-4101 covers four schemes of the JASDF Hiko Kyodotai (Tactical Fighter Training Squadron – the JASDF Aggressor Squadron), two F-15Js and two F-15DJs. The complete package comes in a resealable poly bag – however, beware of the adhesive when you replace the items in the bag.

Comprehensive instructions leave no doubt about placement of the stencils and major squadron markings. Included are stencils for one aircraft with serial numbers that will allow you to make the four different F-15s. The JASDF Aggressor schemes specifically covered are:

• F-15J 82-8091 (FS34092/36320/36375/37038)
• F-15J 92-8912 (FS30117/34102/36375/Tan)
• F-15DJ 92-8905 (FS35526/36320/36375/36440)
• F-15DJ 92-8096 (FS36320/36375/37038/37875)

This last one is my favorite on this sheet. Instruction paint color call-outs are for GSI Mr. Color and Humbrol.

Bonus items included are 2mm masking tape and a instruction reference CD. The tape is a flexible, low-tack fine-line tape. The CD is an HTML-based application that shows each of the four schemes in plan-view.

These markings should fit the Academy and Hasegawa F-15 kits with no problems.
