Brengun Aftermarket Items

By Matt Bittner

While they’ve been out for a few months now, here’s an article showcasing the latest aftermarket releases from Brengun.

Brengun BRL144098 1
1/144 MiG-15/MiG-17 Photoetch Ladders: There are two sets of ladders included, each with separate pieces to add to them. Once they are properly folded and painted, you’ll have an excellent ladder to display on your MiG-15 or MiG-17. Brengun BRL144098 2
Brengun BRL144100 1
1/144 Platz A-4 Canopy: Even though the kit has been out for quite some time, the one thing lacking was a thin-enough canopy you can display open to show off all the cockpit detail Brengun provides in their photoetch set. Brengun BRL144100 2
Brengun BRL144101 1
1/144 Attack MiG-15 Canopy: Since Brengun has earlier released a photoetch set for the Attack kit with lots of interior details, now you can display all that great detail by using Brengun’s vac-replacement canopy and glue it open. Brengun BRL144101 2
Brengun BRL72077 1
1/72 MiG-15/MiG-17 Photoetch Ladders: These are the same as the 1/144 ones just in 1/72. They’ll look great added to your Eduard MiG-15. Brengun BRL72077 2

All in all some excellent releases from Brengun. I really like how they keep releasing aftermarket for not only 1/144 kits, but also for manufacturers not usually covered, such as Attack. My one hope is since they have the MiG-15 and MiG-17 covered, they’ll start releasing details for the MiG-19 series of kits (to include the J-6 and FT-6 aircraft as well).

Many, many thanks to Brengun for sending in the review items.
