Brengun 1/144 Eduard MiG-15 Canopies

In 1/144 scale, most items in injected plastic are, by nature, out of scale due to the thickness of the plastic. This is especially true with canopies as they tend to be very thick. It is because of this a more accurate canopy in 1/144 is best served with a vacuum-formed item. Brengun has been releasing vac canopies for some time, now, for 1/144 kits and this time they turn their attention to the new – and excellent – Eduard MiG-15.

There are two canopies with this set, one opened and one closed. So it’s helpful with Eduard’s tendency to release their 1/144 kits as dual-combos with two kits in a box. Granted, if you wanted to display both with opened or both with closed canopies you may need to pick up another set, but if you’re content with one opened and one closed then you’re all set with one package of canopies.
