Begemot Nieuport Type 21 in Russian Service Decals
By Matt Bittner
Begemot is known for providing a number of options on their decal sheets. If you want to build a lot of one type of aircraft then Begemot is the way to go. This time they cover biplanes, specifically Nieuport 21s that flew for/in Russia. These are not only World War I (WWI) schemes but also aircraft that flew on both sides during the Russian Civil War (RCW).
Begemot has released the Nie.21 set in three scales, 1/32, 1/48 and 1/72. All sets contain 35 different aircraft you can model:

The decals are printed to Begemot's typical high quality and are in register. There are enough decals to finish all 35 aircraft. A couple of the aircraft carried Le Prieur rockets and one used skis instead of wheels so you'll want to be aware of those. I'm uncertain if the Eduard 1/48 and 1/72 kits come with those items, along with the Hobby Craft 1/32 kit.
These are superb decals and if you want to model a bunch of Russian Nieuport 21s then this is definitely the decal set for you.
Huge, huge thanks to Begemot for sending these in for review.
