Begemot 1/72 Mil Mi-35M Decals
By Matt Bittner
Begemot is known for providing more than their fair share of markings on their decal sheets. While past sheets have included upwards of 80 different subjects, this release contains ten unique helicopters, primarily because it's a relatively new piece of hardware. Those ten primary aircraft provided are:
- Mi-35M(3) (Mi-24VM), Rostvertol test/show aircraft
- Mi-35M(3) (Mi-24VM), 387 Avn Base, Russian AF, 2011
- Mi-35M(3) (Mi-24VM), 393 Avn Base, Russian AF, 2012
- Mi-35M(3) (Mi-24VM), 15th Bde, Russian AF, Ostrov airfield, 2013
- Mi-35M(3) (Mi-24VM), 546 Avn Base, Russian AF, 2014
- Mi-35M(3), Azerbaijan AF, 2011
- Mi-35M(3) (Mi-24VM), 546 Avn Base, Russian AF, 2014
- Mi-35M(2), Venezuelan AF, 2009
- Mi-35M(3), Brazilian AF, 2012
- Mi-35M(3), Iraqi Army Aviation, 2012
Be aware, though, the decal sheet includes additional numbering so more helicopters can be built from each different unit. Plus, full stenciling is included which will no doubt take up the majority of your decaling time.
Being from Begemot you can be guaranteed of a quality product and this is no exception. Printing is exceptional and everything appears to be in register. If you're contemplating building the Zvezda 1/72 Mi-35M, and are looking for alternative markings than look no further. This is an excellent set of decals.
Many thanks to Begemot for the review set. Keep your eyes on IM for a build using these decals coming soon.
