BarracudaCals 1/32 P-51D Mustang Cockpit Stencils and Placards Decals
By Matt Bittner
Does much need to be written about the P-51, the iconic hardware of WW2? If you're truly unfamiliar with the type, then I suggest doing an on-line search of it. You will definitely have a ton of information. The instructions for this set of decals are really well done. While the instruction sheet is small, the photos of a real P-51 cockpit included are nicely printed and in focus. The bonus is these – and other photos – are available on the BarracudaStudios site. These photos show where each decal should go, but pointing them out and referencing the numbers associated with each decal on the sheet.
The decals themselves are very nicely printed and will dress up whichever 1/32 P-51D you put these on – Dragon or Tamiya. Anything you think is missing from other sets for stencils and placards inside the P-51 cockpit, is included with the BarracudaCals set. From the "real" photos provided, I would hazard a guess that nothing is left out.
Given the size of any 1/32 kit, items like the BarracudaCals 1/32 P-51D cockpit stencils and placards are a necessity. You have the size and room, so why not add everything possible.
Our thanks to BarracudaStudios for sending this set in to review.
