Armory 1/144 B-52 Stratofortress Wheels With Weighted Tires

One drastic thing I noticed with the Minicraft B-52H I have (and slowly working on) are the wheels and tires. Unfortunately all of the main tires have nasty mold-circles on them that must be filled, which would prove to be an ardous task. Plus they sorely lack in detail. Thankfully Armory comes to the rescue.
These are excellent replacements. One thing I didn't realize was just how large - too large - the Minicraft wheels/tires are and truly how devoid of detail they are. The resin-replacement set from Armory will make any kit of the B-52 in 1/144 truly stand out. And they are labeled "universal" meaning they'll work with any 1/144 B-52, Revell or Minicraft.

Not only does armory include the main wheels but also the wheels for the outriggers. Truly exceptional. You'll note in my comparison photos light-grey wheels/tires, these were only sent to truly show off the detail in photos (dark-grey, almost-black is difficult to photograph, especially up close). The set from Armory comes in dark-grey, almost-black to help with the finishing (meaning you wouldn't have to paint the tires unless you truly wanted to).
Receiving these replacement wheels/tires has lit a spark in my wanting to complete my B-52. I owe it to my late-uncle.
