Eduard 1/72 P-51B/C
By Jacob Russell
Arma Hobby's new 1/72nd scale North American P-51B/C Mustang kit has been warmly received. It is accurate and highly detailed right out of the box. So naturally Eduard has introduced some upgrades for it. Let's take a look at some of them:
672280 Brassin P-51B/C exhaust stacks w/fairing PRINT ($7.95 USD)
This simple set is a pair of 3-D printed resin exhausts with fairings. Their detail is superb, plus the stacks openings are drilled. These look great.
672282 Brassin P-51B/C wheels diamond treadĀ ($7.95 USD)
These resin wheels have a subtle diamond tread to the tires, and the tires themselves have a very subtle bulge. They also include a set of rice paper masks.
73765 P-51B/C photo-etch ($19.95 USD)
There are 34 parts on a single fret. Many of these parts are pre-painted. The parts includes a new instrument panel, seat harness, radio sets, sidewall instruments, etc. Additional upgrades include oleo scissors, 2 styles of cowl gills, rudder pedals, and tailwheel doors.
CX620 P-51B/C masksĀ ($7.95 USD)
This comprehensive mask set caters to both standard and "blown" Malcolm hoods, plus masks for the wheels.
Conclusion
Here are 3 great detail sets for your Arma Hobby P-51B/C. Each of them enhances a kit that is already highly detailed right out of the box. I recommend these and I would like to thank Eduard for the review samples.
