Brengun 1/144 He-162D
By Matt Bittner
No need to go into great detail for this review since a First Look was written when the original He-162A was first released.
This time Brengun has changed the wing to make them forward-swept as well as the V-type tail. Decals are for four fictional He-162Ds, since the He-162D was only a "paper project" and never developed nor flown:
- "Red 4", all RLM 82 on top and RLM 76 on the sides with red-and-white stripes on the bottom
- "White 42", RLM 82 on top, the rest RLM 76 with "stippeling" on the sides
- "White 33", RLM 82 on the port-top, RLM 81 on the starboard-top with RLM 76 on the bottom
Remember you can pick up Brengun's separate photoetch set along with their vacuum-formed canopies to enhance your 1/144 He-162D model.
My thanks to Brengun for sending the model to review.
