A LUFTWAFFE CLASSIC
One of WWII's most celebrated flying aces returns in fine form in the hands of Hasegawa®, who has recreated Hans Hahn's Messerschmitt BF 109F-2 in 1/32 scale. The Luftwaffe took advantage of the Messerschmitt BF 109's power and maneuverability from the start, placing it into the gifted hands of its pilots. Many of those who had the good fortune to fly the BF 109 became certified legends. One pilot, Hans "Assi" Hahn, forever cemented his place in WWII history by scoring 108 career "kills" at the sticks of the BF 109. His accomplishments resulted in multiple awards and honors, including Germany's equivalent to the Medal of Honor, the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross.
This limited edition kit features new upper cowling panel parts, new air intake parts, new front canopy panel parts for the late-type F-2 variant and new oil cooling parts.
