CARRIER-CAPABLE SUKHOI IN 1/72 SCALE
Produced to rival the American F-15 during the Cold War, the Su-33 Flanker-D has been reproduced by Hasegawa® in 1/72 scale. The 1982 Sukhoi Su-33, descended from the Su-27, was designed to be carrier-capable for use as a naval fleet defense interceptor. Probably the most well-known feature of the Su-33 is that it can refuel while in flight – but a lesser known feature is that the Su-33 launched via a ski jump for improved climb angles from initial take-off. Sukhoi is currently developing a modernized version of the Su-33.
This kit features new tooling and two marking options:

U.S. AIRCRAFT WEAPONS IN 1/72 SCALE
Today's military aircraft use a wide range of weapons to support their many roles in modern warfare. One weapon, the short-range AIM-9 Sidewinder air-to-air missile, has been a standard for over 50 years on fighters and helis. Others, like electronic countermeasure (ECM) jamming pods and hard-point launchers, became common fixtures on subsequent aircraft such as the Phantom II and F-18.
This kit features assorted, newly tooled U.S. aircraft weapons, including AIM-9X and AIM-120C Sidewinder missiles: AN/ALQ-184 and AN/ALQ-188 (V3) jamming pods and LAU-127, LAU-115A and LAU-115C launchers.

JAPAN'S CELEBRATED COMMERCIAL AIRLINER NOW IN 1/144 SCALE
Hasegawa has taken "The First Production" YS-11 Airliner and recreated its facsimile in 1/144 scale. Produced by the Nihon Aircraft Manufacturing Corporation, the YS-11 took its first flight in August, 1962. By the time the aircraft was certified two years later, the first production aircraft were already being built. In March, 1965, All Nippon Airways became the first major airline to add the YS-11 to its fleet. The last YS-11s were constructed in 1974, but it remains the most successful commercial airliner produced by a Japanese corporation.
This limited edition kit features new decal markings for the YS-11 "First Production," Code: JA8610, Japan Aviation Bureau.
