The Tillamook Naval Air Museum has an interesting collection of aircraft both restored and under restoration. Already restored are an F4U Corsair, a two seat Spitfire, and an A-26, among others. One being restored is a very rare bird, the AM-1 Mauler. This is a huge paddle-bladed beast of a plane, made back in the days when Navy planes were painted blue like the oceans they flew over.
