Eduard 1/72 Bf 110E Photoetch
By Matt Bittner
Although their recently released 1/72 Bf 110E comes with a photoetch fret, Eduard has released another set of photoetch for that kit, adding even more detail to the kit. Nothing has been duplicated between the kit and this separate photoetch set, so if you're looking for even more detail for the excellent 1/72 Bf 110E, then you'll want this set (#72542).There are additional details for the landing gear well in both nacelles. You receive even more detail for the cockpits, by replacing items that are molded in (such as the tray to hold items on the side); additional items like the sides of the gunner's area; more switches and a map case, etc. There are photoetch fronts for the radiators, as well as a replacement rear for both of the built-up radiators. You receive "scissors" for the tail-wheel oleo; replacement control linkages for the trim-tabs and stabs; brake lines for the main landing gear; and replacement fins for the bombs (including a template to help place those fins).
This set contains just that little bit more to make an awesome kit even more stellar.
I definitely thank Eduard for sending this set to review, and help enhance their review kit.
