Editorial
The new year just seems to be flying by, and while I
made a good start in modeling for 2006 (I even finished a model!), I seem
to be in the doldrums. Perhaps it is the changing weather, or perhaps
the anticipation of all the springtime work that is undoubtedly coming
up. Hopefully some of the new stuff coming out will reinvigorate my building
desires, though. The Trumpeter 1/72 Tu-160 is looking quite appealing,
even though it is huge. Perhaps that plane will lend itself to a progressive
build report here at Internet Modeler.
Which turns me to our newest feature: our
newsfeed. We get quite a few announcements throughout the month, and
it is difficult to organize them and prepare an announcement page each
month. This is readily apparent in the fact that we don't really have
an announcement page. With our newsfeed page, though, we hope to bring
you notices of new releases, upcoming events, and, once we work out all
the bugs of the program, perhaps some progressive build reports. Check
back often and see how this new tool develops!
In the meantime, I think I will try and finish a few
cockpits for some ongoing projects, and see if I might be able to return
to the pages of Internet Modeler with some new builds in the very new
future. Wish me luck!
