Draw Decal 1/144 Transavia 737-800s | | Transavia's 737-800s are attractive, with their large fuselage swoosh, but there are also several variations to the original that make for some unique options. Draw Decal has decided to provide not only the standard livery, but several options as well. The two other sheets that came across my desk include the large billboard titles and one of the state lottery planes, and I have heard that a second lottery plane is imminently due. Starting with the standard livery first, this sheet is eye-catching, with its large green swooshes taking up the majority of the sheet. The size and positioning of these decals will be a bit of a challenge, especially in getting the two sides to match, but plenty of water and a bit of care should yield excellent results. The other decals include the fuselage titles as well as the engine and tail logos. Registration codes are included for the wings and fuselage, with extra letters for other aircraft in the Transavia fleet. Window decals, door outlines, and a few stencils round out this sheet. The second sheet includes much of the same details as the first, including the tail logo and engine logos. The most noticeable difference, though, is the lack of the fuselage swooshes. Instead, large website billboard titles are included. This apparently was only carried on one aircraft, PH-HZE, and this registration code is included for both the fuselage and the wing. Like the above sheet, this sheet also includes window decals and some stenciling. The third sheet is also a one-off aircraft, this time PH-HZU. While the tail logo remains the same as the regular Transavia aircraft, this time there are large titles for the state lottery on the fuselage sides. In addition to the 'Staatsloterij' titles, there is a graphic of a large yellow fish swallowing a small blue fish on the fuselage as well. Stenciling and window decals are also included on this sheet. Whatever your Transavia desires are, these Draw Decal sheets are bound to be popular. The great shades of green and blue will look wonderful on a Revell 737-800, and with the different options included here it is very tempting to do a Transavia collection. Here's hoping that Draw Decal will continue with Transavia aircraft and perhaps come out with some of the earlier liveries as well. | |
