During the almost five years of IM, many names have appeared in our pages. Some of which are still making regular appearances, some of which have moved on to other things.

Originally Chris Banyai-Riepl, Tom Cleaver (and myself) decided to combine forces and produce a site devoted to all manners of model building. The big difference between IM and the other sites was immediately apparent in two things. . one was the fact that although predominantly aircraft oriented, it also featured other aspects of the hobby. The other was a specialty of Chris' previous site, Aviation What-Not - profile artwork. Eventually Tom moved on and Michael Benolkin replaced him.

Well, the time has come to add to the team at the top.

Up to now, each issue has been put together by Chris, Michael and myself – with occasional help from others. Chief amongst these has been Lorna Jenkins. Lorna has provided much of the proofreading and corrections since the early days, and for the past few months both she and her husband, Shane, have been doing up pages for IM as needed.

Since the very early issues, Matt Bittner has been responsible for many of the 1/72 builds and reviews seen in our pages, and it is with pleasure that we welcome him as a contributing editor. Matt's big interests are Nieuports, WWI aviation, Russian aviation and also armour. . but only in 1/72 scale. Besides adding Matt, Al Superczynski (autos) and Dave Manter (armour) are also recent additions to the editorial team.

Over the next few months we hope to both expand the content, add new authors/builders, and also improve the look to take advantage of the talents that each of these individuals bring to IM.

I would also like to thank all of our contributors, both current and past, for their work over the past 4.5 years and to say that I can't imagine what I would be doing now without IM.
