Tamiya has recently released a limited reissue of their 1/24 BMW 320i Racing kit, #24002, one of their earliest sports car kits, first released in 1978. The kit includes decals to model the white, red and blue car sponsored by National City Travelers checks.

Since this particular type car was also was raced by other teams in several other series around the world, aftermarket decal maker Studio 27 has now released several sets of alternative markings to be used with this kit. This sheet has the markings to replicate three different cars. Since the 1970s, the German liquor brand Jagermeister has long been a sponsor of race teams in many different series, in their characteristic orange color. These cars are from 1977. Cars #14 and #15 are from the German Racing Championship. Harold Grohs drove the #14 car, while Hans Stuck drove #15. The other variant is the #51 car as it raced at the Silverstone 6 Hour race in the World Championship of Makes. The drivers were Ronnie Peterson and Ralph Kellners.

This set includes one sheet of decals, with artwork by UMI Graphics printed by Cartograph. The colors are sharp and accurate, the printing very crisp and sharp. There is also a full color instruction sheet to show you where the decals should be placed. This includes painting tips to match the different color spoiler and headlight covers to the proper car. (These and other highlights are often painted a different color for each car in a team to allow for quick identification of the driver of that vehicle).
