Here is a neat little summary of Canadian use of the Sherman. Five pages take us quickly through Sherman development and production, with the sub-types described. Then come ten more with the tank’s history in Canadian service, and four more listing all the Canadian units that received Shermans and the places where they served. There is a four-view 1/35-scale plan of a Sherman V, or M4A4, showing typical markings for the Ontario Regiment in Italy, and a very good selection of wartime photographs as well. These have good captions, in most cases identifying unit, place and date – just what modellers like to have.

Recommended for everyone who likes either Shermans or Canadian armour.
