White Ensign Models Colourcoats By Michael Benolkin

Last month, we looked at the White Ensign Models line of US Navy Colourcoats - a new line of color-matched enamels that are produced in Humrol/Xtracolor styled tins. This month, we'll look at their line of aircraft colors that are color-matched to their respective standards.

Not a bad variety of colors and this line-up appears to be growing. Stand by for more good things from WEM! I've compared the US colors to the FS color chips that I have handy and found no surprises (would you expect anything else?) and the Luftwaffe and FAA/Coastal Command colors are a great match for similar colors that I have from other manufacturers. What's nice about the tins is that their shelf life is generally longer and you have the built-in paint chips for color-matching on the lids.
