So you’ve finished your latest model and it’s looking really good. You’ve got the canopy open, showing off that great cockpit, and a nice even loadout under the wings. As nice as it looks, though, you still think something is missing. And you’re right: remove before flight flags. These hang down from just about everything on aircraft, providing locks for landing gear, ejection seats, and weaponry. Adding a handful of these to your finished model will complete the look you’re after, and thankfully Tally Ho! has come to the rescue with these innovative flags. Rather than using decals this sheet is very thin self-adhesive sticker with the flags printed on them. You have to very carefully trim the flag out, remove the backing, then fold it over. A hole is marked where you’ll need to punch through, then all that’s left is to add a small piece of wire (the instructions suggest using copper wire) and place it on the model. The sticker sheet is thin enough to result in a realistic flag, even when folded over, and appears to be able to take some crumpling as well. The sheet has two different sizes of flags and three different styles. There’s a total of 156 flags all together, giving you more than enough for a couple planes.
