Yellow-Wings Decals 1/32 Seversky P-35 1937-1938
By Matt Bittner
The third of three 1/32 releases from Yellow-Wings Decals is this set for three 1/32 P-35s, which is meant for the Williams Bros. kit. All aircraft are left in their "natural metal" state with different colors on their cowls. The aircraft are:- Seversky P-35, 17th Pursuit Squadron, 1st Pursuit Group, Selfridge Field, 1937 (finished with a white cowl face and two black, fuselage stripes)
- Seversky P-35, 94th Pursuit Squadron, 1st Pursuit Group, Selfridge Field, 1937 (finished with a red cowl face and two red, fuselage stripes)
- Seversky P-35, Headquarters Squadron, 1st Pursuit Group, Selfridge Field, 1938 (finished with a three-color cowl face - red, white, and yellow)
Decals are finished to the usual high-standards associate with Yellow-Wings. Not only do they provide all markings for both aircraft but all three aircraft also have all stencils associated with the P-35. Unfortunately the instructions don't provide anything to show where those stencils are to be placed, so you'll need to source photos of the three aircraft being provided for.
Aside from now showing stencil placement, this decal set is excellent and if you're looking for an alternative scheme for your William Bros. 1/32 P-35, then by all means pick up this set of decals.
We definitely want to thank Yellow-Wings Decals for sending this decal set to review.
