Starfighter Decals 1/144 21st Century Hawkeyes NR

If you were wondering how you were going to mark your Revell 1/144 E-2C with the Retrowings 8-blade props, then wonder no more.  Starfighter Decals has released a set of decals for these 21st Century Hawkeyes that will work with that coupling of kit and aftermarket.  There are two aircraft catered for on this decal sheet:

• E-2C+ from VAW-123, Screwtops
• E-2C+ from VAX-124, Bear Aces

The "Screwtops" machine is probably the more interesting of the two.  Sure, both are overall Gull Gray, but "Screwtops" comes with a spiral and eye decal for the dish on top of the airframe.  In addition, there are red, white and blue stars-and-stripes for the forward fuselage.  Pretty awesome.

According to the decal instructions you'll need the decals from the kit marked as "Common" and "Common U.S. Navy".  That means the only decals on this set are for the machines specifically.

As with all their 1/144 decals, these are ALPS printed so care must be taken.  Care during handling and applying, lest you rub off the ink.
