Eduard Seatbelts RAF early STEEL
By Jacob Russell
This new set of photo-etch seatbelts from Eduard are applicable to early RAF fighters such as the Spitfire Mk.I, Hurricane Mk.I and the turreted Boulton-Paul Defiant heavy fighter.
This is a simple set, consisting of 2 pairs of early Sutton seatbelts. They are pre-painted and each pair comprises 4 pieces. They will be easy to use: remove them from the fret with a good pair of PE scissors, assemble the pieces with thin super glue, and hit them with a bit of accelerator and you're done.
I like these belts. Airfix has produced quite a few new 1/48th scale single engine fighter kits, notably the Hawker Hurricane Mk.I, Boulton-Paul Defiant, and the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I and Mk.V variants. All of these kits have well detailed cockpits, and if you want an easy build, just add a pair of these belts and call it good.
I recommend this photo-etch set and I would like to thank Eduard for the review samples.
