Eduard 1/72 Tamiya Il-2M3 Photoetch

With normal photoetch sets, you receive quite a bit to super detail your model. This is definitely the case with this set from Eduard (73481) for the Tamiya 1/72 Il-2'M3'. Like the Zoom set, it contains one photoetch fret primarily for the interior of the model, but there is also a second photoetch fret with more for the exterior.
These bits include replacement control arms for the trim tabs; replacement fins for both types of bombs; a replacement main site; additional piping and wiring for the landing gear and gear doors; as well as "grills" for the various intakes. Unfortunately the one main area that would best be replaced is not, and that is the main air filter hanging off the front of the starboard wing. Even though that part isn't included, this is still an excellent set to add to your Tamiya 1/72 Shturmovik.
