Eduard 1/72 Revell B-17G Interior Photoetch
By Matt Bittner
Whereas set #73 382 was meant for primarily the interior of the Revell 1/7 B-17G fuselage, this set (#73 376) is meant for the cockpit and surrounding area. You receive the same photoetch set that comes with the Zoom fret plus two others. So, you receive parts for the cockpit floor; bulkheads; throttles and throttle quadrant; items for the interior piece where the throttle quadrant sits; instrument panel; replacement control wheels; and pieces for the inside of the main canopy. Then there are more pieces. Replacement pilot and co-pilots seats (although you'll still need the seatbelt set, #73 019); even more parts for the bulkheads and cockpit floor; more parts for the inside of the main canopy; and finally a lot of more parts for the fuselage interior that is part of the cockpit. Lots and lots of parts.
When you couple all the sets released so far for the B-17G (with another set or three still coming) you have the potential for an extremely super-detailed Revell B-17G. Yes, a lot of the detail might be covered once you glue the fuselage halves together (I call it "God modeling", because only you and God know it's in there) but the detail is there never-the-less. It's all pretty stunning.
Our thanks to Eduard for supplying us with this, and all, their photoetch sets for the Revell 1/72 B-17G.
