Eduard 1/72 Hurricane Mk.IIC P/E

This photo etch set (item number 73455) is for the new Airfix Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIC kit. It consists of 40 pieces on a single pre-painted fret plus 5 gunsight lenses on a single acetate sheet. It includes upgrades such as a new cockpit floor and sidewalls, instrument panel, seat belt harness, rudder pedals, compass face and canopy mirror. Additional items include brake lines, new radiator faces and exit door, gunsight frame and a map case. The cockpit floor and sidewalls are a single piece that you fold up with your preferred p/e tools and this is detailed in Eduard's well illustrated and easy-to-follow instructions. The only reservation that I have about this item is that Eduard's depiction of British Interior Green is quite blue in hue.
The new Airfix Hurricane Mk.IIC is accurate and well detailed and Eduard's new set takes its detail to a new level. I recommend this set and I would like to thank Eduard for providing the review sample.
