Eduard 1/72 Brassin Spitfire Exhaust Stacks-Fishtail

This new pair of Brassin resin exhausts is for Eduard's Supermarine Spitfire Mk.VIII and Mk.IX kits, but they are likely to fit many other kits, albeit with some modification.

These are of the so-called "fishtail" shape and they are very attractive. The tip of each exhaust stack is opened up and they are appropriately deep. Yes, you could drill out the ends of the kit exhausts with a tiny drill bit in your pin vise, but why would you bother when you can use the Brassin exhausts instead?
Eduard's 1/72nd scale Spitfire kits have been well received. They are accurate and well detailed. These Brassin exhausts add a nice touch of refinement. I recommend this set and I would like to thank Eduard for the review sample.
