This photo etch set (item number 73453) is for the new Airfix Messerschmitt Bf109E kit. It consists of 111 pieces on 2 frets, one of which is self-adhesive and pre-painted. This fret includes upgrades such as new rudder pedals, instrument panel, seat belt harness, throttle quadrant and oxygen regulator cover. The second fret includes landing gear doors, wheel well liners, brake lines, supercharger intake face, canopy armor, cockpit storage access hatch, wing radiator faces, etc.
The new Airfix Bf109E is accurate and well detailed. It is the best value on the market and undercuts Tamiya's kit on price and accuracy. Eduard's new set takes its detail to a new level. I recommend this set and I would like to thank Eduard for providing the review sample.
