Eduard 1/72 Airfix Typhoon Zoom Photoetch

If you want to just add a little bit of extra detail to the cockpit of your Airfix 1/72 Typhoon – and maybe a couple of external pieces as well – then this Zoom set from Eduard (SS 483) is what you want. You'll find pieces to enhance both sides of the cockpit sidewalls, such as a throttle quadrant, etc. There is a completely new instrument panel replacement, consisting of multiple pieces you'll need to build up. There are replacement rudder pedals and additions to the control column. The set provides data plates for the main landing gear doors as well as a new pitot with mounting plate. Finally, there is a new, fold-up seat with photoetch seat belts as well as a replacement armor plate for behind the seat.
This set provides just enough detail to provide a little "life" to an otherwise out-of-the-box build. My thanks to Eduard for sending this set for review.
