Eduard 1/48 Spitfire PR.XIX Masks

This new set of masks (item number EX390) is for Airfix's new Spitfire PR.XIX kit. It includes masks for the windscreen, canopy, the fixed rear section and both sides of the mainwheels. You have to fill in a large area between the 2 segments of the canopy mask-to enable the mask to accurately conform to the canopy's shape-with liquid masking agent and this is explained in Eduard's instructions.
Masking canopies is always a chore and I reach for aftermarket mask sets whenever I can. Airfix's new PR.XIX kit has been well received and this set makes masking the canopy a cinch. I recommend it and I would like to thank Eduard for providing the review sample.
