Eduard 1/48 Hurricane camo scheme A
By Jacob Russell
Early Hawker Hurricanes were finished in a disruptive camouflage scheme of Dark Earth and Dark Green over aluminum. From September 1939 to May 1940 Hurricanes in Nos. 60 and 67 Squadrons had their lower surfaces painted in a 50/50 split of black and white. Sky undersurfaces replaced the black and white scheme on June 6th of 1940. Ocean Grey and Dark Green over Medium Sea Grey became the definitive camouflage colors for the Hurricane on August 15th of 1941.
This mask set is for 1/48th scale Hurricanes. It consists of Eduard's customary rice paper masks on 2 sheets of backing paper. The masks are strictly for the aircraft upper surfaces. I think that the masks will be easy to use if you follow Eduard's well illustrated instructions.
I use any advantage I can find to help me finish models easily and rapidly. This mask set will help anyone paint Hawker Hurricane upper surface camouflage patterns. I recommend this set and I would like to thank Eduard for providing the review sample.
