Eduard 1/48 Bf110C/D Brassin Wheels

This new Brassin wheel set (item number 648 052) is for Eduard's new Bf110C/D kit but will work with the earlier kit from Fujimi as well. This is a very simple set and it consists of a pair of rice paper masks, separate inner wheel hubs, and the main wheels themselves. A nice feature of the separate hubs is that they have a 'key', or bump on the inner wheel recess which corresponds to a slot cut into the hub, to insure firm and accurate location. The tires have accurate tread and the outer hubs have molded on brake lines; the detail of these parts is excellent.
I have the Eduard Bf110C/D and it already has great detail, but these wheels represent a substantial upgrade. I recommend the Brassin wheels and I would like to thank Eduard for providing the review sample.
