Eduard 1/48 Bf109G-6 Zoom

This Zoom set is for Zvezda's new 1/48th scale Messerschmitt Bf109G-6 kit. It consists of 31 parts on a single pre-painted fret. The fret is not self adhesive. Seat belts are not included. They're available in another set (49832). Perhaps this is because Zvezda includes a pilot figure?
This Zoom set includes upgrades such as a new instrument panel, oxygen regulator face, sidewall consoles, chains for the landing gear retraction wheels, etc. It comes with Eduard's customary well illustrated instructions. They are easy to follow.
Zvezda's new Bf109G-6 kit is pretty good. It is accurate and well detailed, albeit facing some stiff competition from Eduard's own new Gustav kit and the new Tamiya G-6. Eduard's Zoom set adds some useful detail. I would still prefer that seat belts be included, rather than having to purchase them separately.
Don't forget to use your preferred magnification device, some good photo etch scissors, and that you remove the parts from the fret with the fret inside a plastic bag. Some of the parts are tiny and you're unlikely to see them again if they go flying.
