Usually these are released by companies not associated with the kit manufacturer. However, since some companies now are both kit and aftermarket producers, it makes perfect sense for them to release these items for their own kits. This is definitely true with Brengun. This time they have released a vacuum-formed canopy for their own 1/72 Car Door Typhoon.
