Armory 1/72 T-55 Turret

The biggest problem with the Trumpeter 1/72 T-54/55 series of tanks is the somewhat small stature of its turret. Plus, it has to be assembled by adding a bottom plate to the top of the turret. The Armory turret eliminates all that. It's a direct replacement for the Trumpeter kit (as well as the Ace and PST) so once it's painted, and you add a barrel, all you have to do is place it on the top of the tank and you're done.

This T-55 replacement turret is extremely well molded and shows some real finesse of the resin. There appears to be no clean up needed but the other, separate turret details will need to be added. You can see an image of a completed turret on Armory's site.
